Cheap and easy home décor
Decorating our boxes like they do in home and interior magazines and catalogs isn’t always that easy. Often these decorating ideas are costly or hardly found on the market. However decorating a home doesn’t have to be pricey, all it takes is a little creativity. Here is our way to spice up a boring corner.
Bring nature into your box! We looked for a broken branch in a nearby forest and laid it out to dry in our wintergarden. After two weeks of drying we trimmed the branch to fit our living room. Here is the core after the operation.

Before painting the branch we removed all dirt and bits of the bark that were starting to come off. We had some leftover paint from painting our doors which we used for our branches. We used a paint brush to paint the branches, but you could also use an aerosol can to do the job.

We bought a cheap vase from IKEA and placed the branches into the vase. And this is our living room corner today.

Do you have any suggestions for cheap and easy DIY home décor?
