Easter in Salzburg
Wow, spring has suddenly come out of nowhere in our neck of the woods. Here’s what we found on a recent stroll through the city of Salzburg:
This is a traditional Palmbuschen. Palmbuschen are commonly put together the weekend before Easter, and taken to church the Sunday before Easter Sunday. They are similar to the Osterstrauss we already posted about, and are lavishly decorated with colourful ribbons
and even easter bunnies.
