Easy Spring Decorating
Spring finally arrived in our neck of the woods today. Sadly, we’ll most likely get snow again tomorrow. Damn. Fortunately we have a little something on our dining table to cheer us up:
What you see are Palmkaetzchen. They are lovely branches with furry silver blooms.
Palmkaetzchen can be found in almost every Austrian household around this time of the year since they are symbolic of spring and Easter. They are also more durable than fresh flowers and need absolutely no care. After a while they will get yellow like this:
We love us some decorating for spring that requires absolutely no effort!
